Johanius Nason (known as John Nason) was born on September 3, 1585, in Wellesbourne, England on
the Mickle Meadow Farm and died November 12, 1624 in Wellesbourne, England. Raised in the area,
he married Elizabeth Rogers on October 28, 1600,at the young age of 15. Elizabeth was 17 years
old at the time. She may also have been born on Mickle Meadow Farm.
	<br /><br />
Johanius Nason was a Barber and Apothecary by trade. He was 39 when he died in 1624.
	<br /><br />
His son Richard Nason would become the immigrant to America in 1629.
	<br /><br />
Elizabeth may have been a member of the Rogers family that was related by marriage to William Shakespeare.
	<br /><br />
Possibly because of that family relationship, John is mentioned as the "separate druggist" (personal apothecary) to William Shakespeare. That mention was in a book; Shakespeare, His Family and Friends by Charles Isaac Elton, Alexander Hamilton Thompson, and Andrew Lang. page 264. Published by EP Dutton 1904 and digitized in 2007.
